1, What is Shore scleroscope hardness?
Shore scleroscope hardness was firstly proposed by the Englishman Albert F. Shore, abbreviated as HS, which is a standard to indicate the hardness of materials. Shore hardness tester is suitable for determining the shore hardness value of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, the hardness value represents the size of the elastic deformation function of the metal. Therefore, in the rubber, plastic, thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer TPU industry is often mentioned.
2, Shore hardness tester classification and scope of application
Shore hardness tester commonly used models Shore A, C, D three models, the general use of each model is as follows: Shore A hardness tester, mainly used for testing plastic synthetic rubber and the hardness. Shore Type C hardness tester is used to determine the hardness of rubber and plastic microporous materials containing foam made of more than 0.5kg/c㎡ when the compression rate is 50%, and can also be used for other materials with similar hardness. Shore D hardness tester is suitable for general hard rubber, hard resin, acrylic, glass, thermoplastic plastic, printing plate, fibre and other high hardness material hardness test.
