A US medical device company needed surgical instrument handles machined from 17-4PH stainless steel with mirror-polished surfaces and full traceability documentation.
Regulatory Requirements
The parts required material certificates, FAI (First Article Inspection) per AS9102 format, and lot-level traceability from bar stock to shipment.

Machining Approach
Swiss-type lathes produced the handles with ±0.01mm tolerances, followed by passivation per ASTM A967 and hand polishing of grip surfaces to Ra 0.2.
Outcome
ANXIN became the customer's sole supplier for this part family, delivering 2,000 pcs/month with zero quality escapes over 18 months.
